Northerner turned Southerner. Psychologist turned Recruiter. My dream as a child was to build my own island out of Lego – still not given up hope on this.

Growing up in a small northern city called Chester, I travelled to where it’s even colder, Durham, to study Psychology.

After finishing my degree, I decided on a career in recruitment, as I wanted to use the skills I gained in my degree to work with and understand people to help them find the careers and roles they are looking for, and have enjoyed doing so for over 10 years now.

As the Digital world continues to evolve, I like to keep up to date with the latest happenings in the industry, and have learnt: Swift, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (basic), PHP (basic), WordPress and some design packages to achieve a more holistic understanding and allow company and candidate requirements to be better met. I always try to attend industry events, such as ‘Design Lab London’, so if you spot me in the crowds, come say ‘hello’!
