We’re excited to feature another recent IHR Partnership team member, Yasmin Niksaz, with a few interesting questions. Don’t forget to connect with her on LinkedIn!
Tell us a little bit about yourself, starting with where you’re from?
I’m from Leeds and have worked in London for around 6 years now so packing a suitcase is something I’ve absolutely mastered. I love the big city but really like being able to have the best of both and still seeing my family and friends up north regularly!
Where do you live now?
My current home is Leeds and that’s where I’m from. I live in the city centre by the canal which is gorgeous for walking and running too.
What do you enjoy outside of work?
I’ve always been pretty active and enjoy most sports including tennis, swimming and anything else that’s fun and competitive. That also includes beer pong as I am quite social and love spending time with friends and family, I LOVE hosting and also partying too.
As well as keeping fit and being a regular gym bunny, I’m a massive foodie. I cook a lot and love trying new recipes. I also enjoy trying different restaurants such as hidden gems or anywhere with an attractive tasting menu. The wine pairing is never a question, it’s the answer.
I love travelling too and trying new foods but also seeing new places and exploring. I’ve travelled solo a few times too which I also love doing. If you need a travel itinerary, hit me up!
What motivates you?
Happiness. My main driver is living a happy life with minimal worries and having the freedom to do whatever I want to do.
What do you like about working in partnerships?
Mostly everything without sounding too cliché. I’m part of a vibrant and forward thinking team who work hard and balance well socially. We put on some incredible events and have so many clients that we’re helping to grow. Every one of them is different and I love building relationships with them all! What’s not to like?
What are your favourite IHR events?
In my time here so far the pinnacle for me has to be there IHR Awards. It was even more unreal than I had expected and I can’t wait for the next one already. I also love the face-to-face events where we can catch up with our clients and all help each other with the event as a team. My background includes a lot of events, and I can honestly say the level of events is at a high standard and I’m proud to be a part of them. Here’s to more!
What are you most looking forward to in 2023?
As the partnerships team have expanded, so have the marketing team and also our events!! It’s going to be a big year for IHR, I can feel it.
What do you hope to come in Q1?
Much more collaborating within our team and also some successful virtual and in person events that we have on the agenda!
