Tell us a little bit about yourself, starting with where you’re from?
I am originally from the unforgettable place that is Stoke on Trent, I moved to London 5 years ago and studied at St Mary’s University in Twickenham where I also continued to compete in Athletics. I have always wanted to live in London and getting the option to move down I could never say no to, but I do love going home often and seeing both friends and family as well as the mighty Port Vale FC
Where do you live now?
I now live in Teddington which is a stone throw away from where I went to university. I stayed around the area because it is where a lot of my friends stayed as well as it being an amazing place in the UK to live.
What do you enjoy outside of work?
I enjoy meeting up with my friends over a few drinks and watching the football. I am an active person so love anything sporty whether it be playing football or just on a run in one of the beautiful parks around the area. If not out and about you will see me in front of the sofa with a good old drama, did anyone see the last episode of Happy Valley?
What motivates you?
There are a lot of things that motivate me but I think the main one is the opportunity to challenge myself and get better in everything I do. Also I won’t lie I do like winning.
What do you like about working in partnerships?
Everything!!. I love the journey we are able to go on together to help partners get to their goals and watch them grow.
What are your favourite IHR events?
I haven’t done any events yet as I am new to the company but really looking forward to how the Exhibitions come together. Everyone in one room sharing ideas and getting the most out of it.
What are you most looking forward to in 2023?
I am really looking forward to getting stuck into this role and learning everything possible to help the partners succeed.
What do you hope to come in Q1?
I am in a really fortunate position where we have so many different events in Q1 so it will really help me get to grips with everything, and understand how things works, and come together.
