Building a Co-Operative Candidate Experience for the Pandemic Era

The increased dependence on technology for all aspects of life has seen a huge shift in the last year. It has been the answer to many of our challenges, not least throughout the recruitment sector in attraction, selection, hiring, onboarding and more. There’s no doubt that advancements of technology have been accelerated due to the pandemic but its dynamic, constantly evolving nature means it brings an unlimited amount of opportunities.

These are challenging times for jobs seekers. In 2020 Co-op received record numbers of applications for roles across the UK, and sent more regret emails than at any time in living memory. Now they’ve decided they owe people more than a polite ‘thanks, but no thanks’ in these turbulent times.
