Sami has nearly 20 years’ experience in recruitment both agency and in house as well as HR operational roles and is now VP for Inclusion and Diversity at Wood PLC. Now in a global role he has previously had experience of leading and transforming regional recruitment teams across a variety of industries in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment. Passionate about leadership and driving change, none more so than behaviours and culture around inclusion and diversity (I&D) and how that can impact business performance from engagement, retention, and innovation. Sami currently lives with his family in Manchester but can’t wait to get out and about again meeting people beyond a screen and also not be worried about his young daughter gate crashing and hijacking his calls.
