Bio

Iain MacLeod has been working in the ED&I sphere for almost all of his professional life, with his first role in the sector pre-dating the Equality Act. Since those early days he has continued to learn from others and grow in understanding, constantly asking “how can we do better?”

Over the past 12 years at Reed Talent Solutions, he has built upon this knowledge and brings his lived and learned experience, to the world of recruitment for the benefit of our co-members and customers.

At present, Iain delivers EDI&B training for Reed Talent Solutions. The two-part course is an exciting, thought-provoking experience on EDI&B. It is specifically designed for human resources and talent acquisition professionals or hiring managers, and sets out to build knowledge, open new perspectives, and promote open conversations.

Iain is also an Inclusion Ambassador within Reed and creates a plethora of content, leads discussion, and raises awareness internally on inclusion and belonging, contributing to Reed’s inclusive, diverse and innovative culture.

Iain has contributed to research carried out by specialist EDI Consultancy Unleashed and more recently was invited to be part of Campaign, the UK’s first peer-to-peer LGBTQ+ business network for the recruitment industry, where he shares his experience and best practice advice on how to make the workplace safe and inclusive for LGBTQ+ workers and candidates with other recruitment professionals.
