women in tech

Lack of confidence, lack of awareness, lack of role models, gender stereotypes – these are all barriers that are currently hindering women from pursuing a career in technology.

Our second breakfast event in the Women in Tech series dug deeper into the issue of gender imbalance in tech. We explored ways employers can mitigate unconscious biases that may impact how their business is run and how to build an employer brand that equally resonates with the needs and interests of male and female candidates.

From reviewing job specs and assessment methods, to introducing a diverse interviewing panel and business-wide bias training, a change in Hiring Manager mindset is vital in order to progress.

Check out our post-event whitepaper to find out how to improve gender diversity in your tech team.
