How to Prepare for the New IDVT Legislation

Hybrid working is here to stay and digitalisation is going to be key in 2022 in onboarding new candidates; as shown by the recent IDVT right to work legislation change coming into effect from October 22.

From October, all UK employers will have the option to use newly approved Digital verifications to check candidates’ permission to work in the UK. This has been outlined to help support long-term post pandemic working practices, quicker on-boarding and recruitment processes, as well as enhancing security of the checks.

In this webinar, we discussed the outline of the new plans to use certified Identification Document Validation Technology (IDVT) service providers, to carry out digital identity checks for right to work checks as part of a new UK Digital Identity and Attributes Trust Framework.

Topics Discussed
  • How you can automate your onboarding processes
  • What can you do to reduce your time to hire
  • Advice on how to give a great digital remote candidate experience
  • How to adapt to ever changing legislation using vetting technology
  • … and much more!
