The Latest Updates from IHR – April 2020

The last few weeks at IHR have been a whirlwind of changes. COVID-19 has certainly tested us all, but we are very grateful that our team is healthy, safe and adjusting to our new work environments. It’s times like this that remind us that our community is resilient and supportive, we will overcome this and return to a new sort of normality stronger.

As many of you know, in light the pandemic, we have postponed 2 live exhibitions as well as reframed 3 of our in-person conferences. We have pivoted our in-person conferences, Diversity & Inclusion, Employer Branding, and Recruitment Leaders to virtual experiences. Since this announcement, our registrations for the Diversity & Inclusion Virtual Conference have more than doubled in comparison to attendance on the day (140) at an in-person event. By taking this successful event online more people than ever will be able to gain access to our unparalleled speaker content, revel in the opportunity to learn from peers and event partners online, as well as a whole host of other insight.

We are now just days away from launching the platform that we’ve co-developed that will be hosting the virtual experience! We’re also very close to announcing the dates for the rescheduled live exhibitions. We are incredibly thankful for the hard work from the IHR team as well as the advice we have received in the last month making it so that we were able to shift with ease.

Our team is, for the time being, fully remote and like most of you are experiencing the clumsiness that comes with working from home. We’ve seen a Co-Founder (no names WILL be named) dressed as The Hulk, green face paint and all, for an entire Zoom meeting. We’ve also virtually celebrated a huge milestone as James Morris, Snr Partnerships Manager, had his 5-year anniversary with IHR in March. We were also able to give the Partnership Portal, the “one-stop-shop” for all thing’s partnerships quite a refresh in the last few weeks. You will now be able to see the available events, a pricing calculator and much more. Our goal was to help guide you through the steps that IHR can have in your company journey. We’re also introducing a new product – Specialist Content Series which is a three-part, high-value video, podcast and written content product

All in all, we’re incredibly grateful for our community! We will continue to provide you with high-quality events and content. We look forward to sharing the updates on our virtual conference platform and new dates for the lives in the coming days! Keep an eye out for those updates.
