Bio

Seb York is CatSci’s Talent & Inclusion Manager. He is responsible for overseeing the company’s strategic talent acquisition and candidate’s attraction process in its entirety, and plays a critical role in shaping CatSci’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion strategy and culture, where colleagues feel supported to do their best work and truly be themselves.

Seb’s passion for equality, diversity and inclusion started over 10 years ago during his first post as Equality Advisor for a small housing cooperative. This commitment runs through every aspect of his work; he states that “by promoting and working towards a better culture, employers can only win and become stronger, while employees can thrive and be themselves. Diversity sparks innovation; recruiting and retaining a diverse workforce helps ignite and sustain creativity and allows innovation to prosper. Having a diverse workforce is not only the right thing to do, but this is what makes CatSci stronger. Seb’s commitment and passion for EDI has played an integral part in designing and leading the talent development plans that align to CatSci’s strategic objectives. He is dedicated to challenging the current and often outdated processes, and provides innovative approaches to attract and retain a rich and diverse team of excellent people.
