Building a Diverse Workforce at Senior Management Level

Implementing and innovating a diversity and inclusion strategy has never been so important. The wide range of business and people benefits are widely reported and known, but businesses need to move from reactive to proactive and start making real change; let’s cut through statements of intent and make a difference. However slow and steady it may be. Let’s foster a purposeful workplace culture, and shift the dial from diversity to equality.

At our Diversity & Inclusion Virtual Conference, Natasha presented how she had built a diverse senior management level workforce. Natasha is a Learning & Development Manager for the British Council specialising in management and leadership development. She is the Programme Lead for their flagship Masterclass programme aimed at addressing the under-representation of minority ethnics at senior management level. Natasha is on the Board of Trustees for the African Community School and is a Committee Branch Member for the CIPD.

Topics Discussed
  • Using evidence-based data to design an effective programme
  • Supporting minority ethnic colleagues career progression
  • Building on the success of the programme
  • …and more!
