Customer Success Story: Aon’s Assessment Solutions

When Aon’s Assessment Solutions (formerly cut-e) connected with the IHR Partnerships Team in late 2019, they were interested in reaching an engaged community of In-house professionals. Aon is a global talent management firm and assessment provider that specialises in innovative psychometrics, rigorous scientific testing, and a client-centric approach to organisational psychology consultancy. Their organisation undertakes 30 million assessments each year in 90 countries and 40 languages.

James Morris, Snr Partnerships Manager at IHR, found that if both teams really leaned into the process that this partnership could truly be a success and a little more than 7 months later, we have seen exactly that. Together, James and the team at Aon, chose the IHR channels that would best fit their message, timescale, and goals.

Aon’s IHR campaign began with a category partnership of the Candidate Experience Award at the In-house Recruitment Awards in 2019. In 2020 they partnered and spoke at the IHR Early Careers Conference, offering a unique perspective by presenting with Ocado on the value of Improving Recruitment Efficiencies through AI-driven Talent Assessment. The pair spoke on the recent developments they’ve made at their companies, and how using technology has helped to drive efficiency tenfold.

In April 2020, Aon hosted a webinar focused on the topic, ‘Volume Recruitment Trends: How to Assess the Masses.’ In this webinar they shared some top tips for getting the most out of assessments, keeping candidates engaged and diversifying your talent pool.

As of May 2020, they are pursuing a Specialist Content Series with IHR, which includes video interviews on the topics, How to Succeed with Virtual Assessments and Developing Your Current Employees in Times of Disruption.
