To explore the cost of poor people strategy during the pandemic, we surveyed 500 HR decision-makers and 2,000 employees in the UK and Ireland and conducted an economic analysis based on our findings and other publicly available information. We considered productivity losses, staff attrition and the impact of these on business performance – demonstrating the value of a strategic HR function in boosting a business’s bottom line – and, in turn, the economy.
At our In-house Recruitment Live Manchester one-day conference and exhibition, we were joined by Sam Keeley who gave us exclusive insights into counting the cost of the post-pandemic talent drain.
