Nick has been playing in the Resourcing/Recruiter/TA (whatever the cool term for it now is) space for over 18 years and during this time has worked within agency, RPO and inhouse from recruiter to currently Global Employer Branding Manager at the original tech company IBM. Nick loves pushing the boundaries and looking outside of our space into consumer marketing for ideas and concepts on what we should be doing.

Having won a number of awards in the recent years Nick understands the blood, sweat and beers it takes to win awards and will be keeping this in mind whilst judging them.

Louise has 17 years’ experience in In-House Talent Acquisition and Talent Management, RPO, Executive Search and Contingency Recruiting. During her career she has created, re-engineered and led global and regional teams to deliver up to 6,000 hires a year (professional, graduate, MBA and executive) for SME and blue chip organisations within the Tech, Retail and FMCG sectors. In her current role at Amazon, Louise leads the EU Corporate Talent Acquisition team, supporting hiring needs for 12 countries in the region.

Most of Rick’s experience has been within the International Tech space leading hiring teams for Steria, BAE Systems, Ericsson and others. He started in Recruitment back in the late 90’s and has enjoyed a career in Agency, RPO & for the last 8 years Corporate hiring.

Previously he spent nearly 6 years at mobile gaming company, King, when there were only 300 people; working with a team to scale to over 2000 people across the world. He’s been a judge at the In-house Recruitment Awards since 2012, but we’re not sure if he loves helping us or he just hasn’t got the heart to tell us no.

Jamie has 11 years’ experience within the recruitment sector and moved into in-house recruitment in 2011. As Head of Resourcing at Dennis Publishing Jamie developed and grew the In-house resourcing team from scratch over the best part of 4 years. He is now Talent Acquisition Business Partner at OMD UK in London.

Jamie has direct experience of changing a heavily recruitment agency reliant business to one that embraced an in-house model. Jamie is hugely passionate about direct resourcing, creative candidate attraction, recruitment technology and wider employer branding.

Having been shortlisted in the IHRA previously Jamie knows what it takes to bring together an outstanding application and is looking forward to seeing the work that other In-House teams are achieving in 2017.

Adrian has a number years operational recruitment experience across both in-house and agency and is currently the Resourcing Lead for Severn Trent Water, responsible for the recruitment of all experienced hires across the Severn Trent organisation. Adrian is an Advisory Board Member of the Good Recruitment Campaign at the Recruitment and Employment Confederation. In 2015 Adrian won the recruitment manager of the year award.

Previous recruitment roles include, the Head of Resourcing at Npower, Divisional Manager at Encore Senior Appointments and Michael Page. Adrian was also a senior manager in the retail and logistics industry.

Paul has nearly 20 year’s experience within in-house recruitment having worked across the private, public and third sectors. Paul is the Head of Talent Acquisition at Kier following a recent move from Anglian Water where he lead the transformation of the recruitment function and helped them to win Glassdoor’s Best Place To Work 2019 award.

Paul is passionate about recruitment transformation and has helped to transform the Talent Acquisition function across different companies from high agency reliance to a more truly centralised, cost-effective in-house function.
