Jacob is currently working as a Recruitment Manager for STUDIO GOBO, and most recently at Mediatonic, an independent games developer in the UK. Previously he managed international recruitment for global software companies. He formerly managed Epsilon’s international recruitment operations, where he built an in-house function and reduced the companies agency spend to zero, whilst significantly increasing the quality of hire. Despite being relatively early in his career, he’s won Best In-House Recruiter at both the In-House Recruiter awards and the FIRM awards. As a younger member of the in-house recruiting community, he feels it is important to learn as much as he can from his peers and to also share new ideas. Jacob is very excited about judging this year’s contest and is looking forward to acquiring some tips for future recruitment campaigns.

Rick leads the EMEA Talent Sourcing function for Microsoft responsible for all non-Engineering headhunting across EMEA. With a large and diverse team based from Dublin to Dubai his main focus is acquiring top talent and hiring high potential for Microsoft. Alli Radcliffe has lead Volume Recruitment and HR Services for Direct Line Group since the separation from RBS Group in 2012 and was instrumental in setting up a new stand alone HR function.
Her team is responsible for circa 2000 hires per year, ranging from contact centre operatives to panel beaters and paint sprayers, plus the delivery of HR services which includes first line advise to people managers, HR intranet, end to end recruitment administration and the annual pay cycle. Alli’s team is also responsible for implementing a career transition service for displaced staff.
Alli started her career at Direct Line Group 12 years ago as a Resourcing Advisor and undertaken a number of different recruitment roles including Business Partner. Prior to that Alli started her working career at Barclays where she worked her way up from cheque processing to recruitment team leader.

Louise has 17 years’ experience in In-House Talent Acquisition and Talent Management, RPO, Executive Search and Contingency Recruiting. During her career she has created, re-engineered and led global and regional teams to deliver up to 6,000 hires a year (professional, graduate, MBA and executive) for SME and blue chip organisations within the Tech, Retail and FMCG sectors. In her current role at Amazon, Louise leads the EU Corporate Talent Acquisition team, supporting hiring needs for 12 countries in the region.

Jamie has 11 years’ experience within the recruitment sector and moved into in-house recruitment in 2011. As Head of Resourcing at Dennis Publishing Jamie developed and grew the In-house resourcing team from scratch over the best part of 4 years. He is now Talent Acquisition Business Partner at OMD UK in London.
Jamie has direct experience of changing a heavily recruitment agency reliant business to one that embraced an in-house model. Jamie is hugely passionate about direct resourcing, creative candidate attraction, recruitment technology and wider employer branding.
Having been shortlisted in the IHRA previously Jamie knows what it takes to bring together an outstanding application and is looking forward to seeing the work that other In-House teams are achieving in 2017.

Heidi started out in agency recruitment whilst completing her law degree in Plymouth University and has never looked back. With a passion in providing great experiences for both stakeholders and candidates she has grown through working in an agency, running her own talent development training company and is now leading within in-house talent as a generalist facilitating global hiring. Heidi’s focus is not only on driving day to day talent management but has a direct focus on diversity, inclusion and how to push for better candidate engagement through modern technology based recruitment tools such as chat bots and interactive interview techniques. When not fighting for “best in class” talent strategies, Heidi writes for the Chartered Management Institute Insights page alongside playing taxi to her teenage son.

As Recruitment Manager for Anglian Water, Paul is responsible for delivering the recruitment strategy for the largest Water Company in the UK. With almost 5,000 staff, over 6 million customers and revenue in the £billions, Paul understands the importance of a strong employer brand and excellent candidate experience.
Paul has a degree in HR Management from Staffordshire University and has developed his career building his knowledge and experience within in-house recruitment. Paul is familiar with the IHRA having won ‘Best Public Sector / Not For Profit Team’ in 2014 and being a finalist for the ‘Best In-house Recruitment Manager’ the same year. Paul was also a judge in 2015.

John joined Ascential from Whitbread where he was Head of Resourcing and Central HR for Premier Inn and was accountable for shaping and embedding the vision for talent acquisition, whilst developing, delivering and optimising the resourcing strategy for Premier Inn and Whitbread group functions to help drive workforce/talent planning across the business. Prior to Whitbread, John began his career as an accountant at Accenture before he moved into a number of management roles across global talent and talent acquisition with companies such as Tesco and Barclays.
