A Guide to Accessing VR Events

Our Virtual Reality events are designed for you to fully immerse yourself in an innovative and intimate platform to help you engage with industry peers and discuss challenges and pain points. Whilst this event is most effective in the 3D virtual setting, we understand it’s not for everyone so there is also a 2D option.

Below, you will find some how-to videos and FAQs regarding the platform and application we use.

Tips
  • Events are hosted on Engage VR so please register on Engage to set-up your profile and download the app on mobile, or desktop
  • The app is not yet compatible with Mac users, so will need to be used on mobile or Oculus headset
  • On any device you join, you must use headphones, ideally not airpods as they can create some background noise and echoing
FAQs

On any device you join, you must use headphones, ideally not airpods as they can create some background noise and echoing. Please ensure you are not muted on the app, and should you still be having issues, please try changing the headphones, to see if this helps.

Should you be having issues with the mobile app, please ensure you’ve updated the app, as well as your mobile software to the latest version.

Engage VR App is not currently available on Mac Products so can only be accessed via the Oculus Headset, Desktop, Laptop or Mobile. Please access the event via the downloaded app and you’re not trying to access via a web browser.
